Each church has its own culture, style of worship and opinions on subjects such as giving, baptism of the Holy Spirit and many other things that may seem daunting at first. It may take time to find a church that you like however there are a few things I think may be a helpful guide. Firstly understand that some churches are not Christian and follow various religious doctrines that do not agree with the bible at all. A good church should have a happy and friendly atmosphere and above all else acknowledge Jesus Christ as having come in the flesh and died for our sins. In other words focused on Jesus in every way.
You may need to visit several churches in your area before you decide on one.
